We just had a good heavy rain. Will take quite a bit more to fill the river, but the plants are now watered. Due to total lack of energy, I've not been caring for my garden at all. Off to dentist to start process for permanent crown this afternoon. Car needs fixing, dealer called, there is a recall notice on how the gas tank is attached. Seattbelts in rear of car not working - long story, but must be fixed ( Read more... )

Woke without a migraine for the first day since last Thursday.

Plant lavender hedge.  Move a few plants in rock garden, finish mulching, that dear brother has 90% completed.

Finish unpacking from trip.

Vacuum floors, drifts of dog hair are past not seeing.

Work on fundraising letter. Outline new project.

Lots of fanfare re 'free time' however, they still want payment before your paid time is up, 4 weeks plus in my case. Also, comment notifications are not all coming through and feeds are willy nilly.

Puttered this am, dishwasher on, laundry in basket ready for laundromat. Septic contractor came by. Contract signed. I advised him that no money would be forthcoming til he starts work. He was boggling at my bookshelf. Seems normal to me ( Read more... )
